Information for Ski Swap Consignment
 

Friday Drop Off:

  • Organize all the items you want to consign. It will be helpful to have equipment in front of you. Everyone in a single household should keep equipment consolidated to one sheet.

  • Download consignment equipment and gear check in form, it’s available in PDF and Excel. Please fill out this form prior to consignment drop off on Friday night. At the Friday night check in you will be provided labels for the equipment listed on consignment gear sheet. Please fill in the item #’s on to your Consignment Form that will be given to you on your tags (this column will be left blank until you get your tags). Once complete, gear will be staged to the floor for the sale. Please leave the Consignment Form with staff.

    • The Item field should include the category such as skis, cross country, race skis etc. The Manufacture requires the brand. The description area is provided for additional product info as needed. The size is self-explanatory. If the donation box is checked 100% of proceeds will go to the ski clubs.

  • Labels provided will require name, contact information or optional address and requested price. The consignment price includes a 20% commission in support the Frost Mountain and Middlebury Ski Clubs. There will be a $10 minimum on all gear.

  • Last minute gear check in will occur at start of sale on Saturday November 20th. Expect a wait time as volunteer staff will be limited. It is also important to get the gear on the floor in a timely manner as this is a one day event this year.

  • Consign as much gear as you feel necessary based on these limits:

    • Equipment must be contemporary winter outerwear. No street clothes or runners please.

    • No helmets, strait alpine skis, no holes in garments and everything needs to be clean.

Saturday

  • Ski Swap sale start at 10 am. Cash and checks are preferred, electronic payments will be accepted with emailed receipts; printed receipts will not be available.

  • Sale ends at 3pm doors will be locked at 4pm. Stragglers are to be expected, this will be a fun event.

  • Food service will be provided with a limited menu.

  • Sale will take place in the barn, rain or shine this event will take place.

Sunday

  • Equipment pick up will be from 10am to 12pm. Present consignment receipt to Volunteer staff for ownership validation of unsold items.

  • Items not picked up will be considered donations to the ski clubs.
