COACHING STAFF

Ryan Kerrigan
Ryan Kerrigan made his first tracks in Central Vermont at the side of his father John Kerrigan. As John was coach of the Harwood High School Nordic Team, Ryan went to all of the races because.... well... It was cheaper than the babysitter! Endurance sports did stick to Ryan however. He pursued running and nordic skiing to several junior national championship events and eventually to four years as a member The University of Vermont Ski Team.
Since graduating UVM '09 with a BA in Psychology and BS in Kinesiology Ryan has continued to pursue nordic skiing and running to places near and far including many New England Ski Marathon races, World Nordic Ski Loppets including The Engadin Ski Loppet (Switzerland) and The Gatineau Ski Loppet (Quebec).
More recently Ryan has rekindled his love for trail and mountain running finishing the Vermont 100 Endurance Race on two occasions in under 24 hours, aswell as completing the Transvulcania Sky Ultra (Spain). Ryan has also led junior skyrunning athletes to The Youth Skyrunning World Championships on three occasions in Andorra and Italy.
Aside from coaching Frost Mountain Nordic, Ryan is also a coach with Ridgeline Athletics (Squamish, BC) and Vice President of US Skyrunning. In October 2020 Ryan was voted in as a member of the management committee to The International Skyrunning Federation.

Jessie Donavan
Jessie grew up skiing at Prospect Mountain in Bennington, VT, first alpine and then nordic. She went on to race for Middlebury College and spent a year training in Norway. She has always loved to do anything in the endurance world, the longer the better. She has hiked the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail, completed the 46ers in the Adirondacks, raced in 50mile and 100k running races, finished on the podium of a number of bike races and is pretty much always up for anything as long as it’s outside. Jessie competed as a professional long distance triathlete from 2000-2016 and is a 3x Ironman Champion and multiple Ironman podium finisher and has experiencing racing all over the world. She is excited to share everything she has learned and continues to learn from all of her endurance pursuits with the next generation, mainly the love for it all.
